Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Type: Full-time

Schedule: Per Diem - No set schedule Day/Eve/Noc shifts

Pay: $20.75/hour

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join our growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Provides patient monitoring and patient escort
• Accurately assesses vital signs
• Assists in deescalating patient behavior under the direction of the charge nurse. Monitors patients' physical and psychological conditions. Reports findings to the team leader and/or charge nurse and documents such findings in the patients' medical record Assists in admission, transfers and discharges
• Performs assignments in accordance with the individual treatment plan
• Assists in evaluation of a patient's progress in accordance with Nursing Care/Master Treatment Plans

Position Requirements:

• Titers AND immunizations (MMR and Varicella)
• Hep B vaccine record OR declination
• Flu vaccine attestation OR declination
• 2 TB clearances within the past year or a chest x-ray within the past year AND the +PPD results
• Drug screen; Background Check
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• BLS Certification (MUST be with American Heart Association)
