Horizon Health And Subacute Center is currently looking for a driven Activities Assistant to be a part of a team that is second to none! The right candidate for this position must have the sincere desire to care for our senior residents. Teamwork and a positive attitude are a must!

Activities Assistant Summary

Assists the Director in the implementation of the overall plan and implementation of an activities program, which meets the resident’s social, physical, mental, sensory, and emotional needs

Activities Assistant Qualifications

High school diploma or the equivalent

At least one-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Must have confidence in leading large/small group activities.

Activities Assistant Responsibilities

Leads groups, including social, physical, mental and sensory.

Makes recommendations/changes in the program to the Director based on resident participation and requests.

Motivates and encourages the resident to participate in the activity program at their highest level of ability.

Documents attendance and level of participation in activities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.88 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fresno, CA 93720: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
