At Kingspan Light + Air, we’re proud to offer innovative high-performance daylighting and ventilation products that meet the needs and wants of our customers. To help us continue to grow our offerings, we’re searching for an Architectural Sales Representative to serve the designated market.

As a Sales Representative, you will promote and manage commercial specification development and sales within the designated territory to increase company revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develops sales and marketing plan for assigned territory in conjunction with V.P. of Sales.

· Calls on commercial architectural design firms, lighting designers, general contractors, interior designers, school districts, facility managers, developers, property managers, design/build professionals, commercial end-users and commercial distributors to drive specification sales activities.

· Demonstrates product features and benefits effectively to customers, installers, and prospects.

· Provides product knowledge and assistance to customers regarding installation information and operation of product.

· Educates customers on the proper application of products.

· Organizes commercial specification sales campaigns including prospecting for new specification accounts and servicing existing specification accounts.

· Surveys market and prospects including comparative information on competitive products’ performance and pricing.

· Manages time for maximum productivity.

· Represents company and products at trade shows.

· Maintains activity records in Salesforce.com to track sales efforts.

· Meets Specification quotas for the territory.

· Completes and submits in a timely manner all expense, travel, and sales reports.

· Offers suggestions for improvements to existing products and ideas for new products.

· Perform duties outside of territory as needed.

· Attends meetings and trainings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business and/or and Marketing desired.

· Minimum six (6) years’ experience in regional outside sales, preferably in architectural specified sales related industry.

· Excellent presentation, written and oral communication, organizational, and mathematical skills.

· Participation in industry-related professional organizations is preferred.

· Computer competency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software required.

· Competency in CAD and lighting design software tools preferred.

· Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION

The position is salaried. The employee must be “drug free”, in that he or she may not hold the position and use illegal and/or non-prescribed drugs. Good hearing and vision. Frequent and prolonged standing, walking, and sitting. Some climbing and lifting to 50 lbs. Uses standard office equipment. Traveling up to 75%. Ability to operate a vehicle.

ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS

Works indoors and outdoors. Travels frequently with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
