This is a Career Opportunity in Sales Managment

Due to our growth, we are opening a new store in Clarksville, IN and need to hire and train a new Assistant Manager. Our ideal candidate is motivated and talented sales/business professionals that want to be a part of our team! We are seeking individuals that desire learning as a process to grow a rewarding career. This position will train in our Jefferstown, KY store for 60 to 90 days while we build out the new store. This individual will be a part of the store from the ground up.

What We Offer our Assistant Managers

  • $58k to 84k earning potential
  • uncapped commissions
  • 5 days PTO after 90 days.

What we Expect of our Assistant Managers

  • Drive to Succeed
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
  • Selling and learning our product line which consist of over 100 manufactures.
  • Experience with tablet/IPad technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Presentation Skills in a sales environment
  • Desire to be part of something big

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of five years experience in at least TWO of the following areas:
  • Sales
  • Sales Leadership
  • Interior Design
  • Retail Sales Management

Manager Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of achievement in the sales team by encouraging reps to hit or exceed their quotas
  • Mentor and train sales reps to improve performance, reduce turnover, and provide on-the-job support
  • Develop our sales team by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new salespeople
  • Analyze previous sales periods to create accurate forecasts
  • Track performance metrics
  • Coach and drive sales
  • Set personal and team goals/achieve goals
  • Foster Teamwork
  • Focus on developing full room solutions and encourage in-home style consultations.
