SUMMARY:

Rausch Sturm is a nationwide collections law firm that is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle civil litigation duties on Colorado files.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Associate Attorney will have full litigation responsibilities including review of correspondence, review of files to determine whether they are suit appropriate, review of answers, preparation of discovery, and preparation of dispositive motions and all aspects of conducting trial. In addition, the Associate Attorney is to be knowledgeable in post judgment remedies including attachment and garnishment. The attorney should be familiar with state and federal consumer laws and keep abreast of any changes in state or local rules. The work can only be performed by a licensed CO attorney.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • A Juris Doctor degree
  • Must be licensed in Colorado and have active Bar admission
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a general litigation attorney
  • The ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast paced, results-driven environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in creditor’s rights litigation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
