Automotive Refinish Business Development Manager (2202216)

We have outstanding growth goals for our Automotive Refinish group and we are striving to become the top provider of automotive refinish coatings.
As a Business Development Manager you will support current customers and consult on organic growth opportunities for the Ohio area and surrounding states market.

Travel for this position is required for 75% or more of the time within your assigned geographic territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Leveraging your 5+ years of expertise in the automotive collision or automotive refinish paint industry; you will work with strategic collision center customers to develop their business growth and profitability.
• Combining your strong customer focus, project management experience positioning Business Solutions for commercial success, and your ability to build relationships, you will work across the BASF organization to support the development of new value-added tools or services, new business proposals, and strategic business plans to increase revenues and profits focused on strategic account growth and retention.
• Demonstrating your ability to be motivated by the challenge of successfully growing the Automotive Refinish business, you will be responsible for generating organic growth within larger collision center business in your market.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills will be key for this role.
• Basic proficiency in MS Teams, Outlook, Office Suite and Salesforce.com (or other CRM).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Automotive Paint: 5 years (Preferred)
• Automotive Coatings (top, clear, primer, sealer, etc.): 5 years (Preferred)
• Refinish Technical Support (resolving paint/coating issues): 5 years (Preferred)
• Strong Communication Skills: 5 years (Preferred)
• New Business Development / Sales: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License in good standing (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
