Our marketers are “all in” and have an opportunity to do a little bit of everything. Designing and developing client qualifications, proposals, and presentations take top priority

because these deliverables support bringing in new work. Additionally, our team members have opportunities to coordinate events, develop content for social media, visit job

sites for a groundbreaking photos or milestone events, and help with community volunteer efforts through the Barton Malow Foundation.

Reaching beyond a traditional delivery of our marketing content is a characteristic we look for in every member of our team. Here is what else we are looking for:

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, and imagery in the database(s)

Collaborate with business development to determine best strategy in responding to client requests in a creative way

Develop relevant proposals, qualifications, presentations, and other marketing materials

Prepare teams for client presentations

Continuously capture relevant content of our people and projects through jobsite visits, interviews, and photography/video

Collaborate across the MarCom team on initiatives, strategic planning items, and client-related creative requests

Ensure all geographies and markets are well-represented in internal and external communications, including but not limited to social media, website, leadership updates, etc.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry

Without a degree, 3+ years of relevant A/E/C experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Proficient in Adobe InDesign

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. is a plus

Photography/videography skills preferred

Proficient in document design and layout

Proficient in writing RFP responses, descriptions, cover letters, and other marketing materials

RFP/RFQ experience preferred

Edit content to ensure quality, accuracy, readability, etc.

Knowledge of content management systems

A/E/C industry knowledge

Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks at a time

Detail oriented and organized
