As an Collision Refinish Account Representative, you will work with automotive collision repair shop customers to grow our market share and retain business in Minnesota (65%), Quad Cities, North Dakota, and South Dakota (35%).

As an Collision Refinish Account Representative for BASF Automotive Refinish you create chemistry by…

• Leveraging your education and at least 7+ years of professional industry experience (collision, paint, automotive, solvents or adhesives) you will execute the business strategy and drive sales growth in the local markets through identifying customer and market needs within assigned market responsibility. We are looking for a solid 'hunter'!
• Demonstrating your strong interpersonal skills, you will increase sales growth by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, closing sales and recommending new products and services.
• Your robust relationship building skills will be a valued asset as you manage existing relationships and develop new ones.
• Using your extensive experience in the automotive refinish experience or in a related sales field, you will establish trust and value in our ever-changing industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 7 years of Automotive Refinish industry sales experience and customer relations, body shop experience
• Leveraging your professional sales experience, you will retain business and drive sales growth in the market.
• Demonstrating your strong interpersonal skills, you will increase sales growth by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing business.
• Your robust relationship-building and value-based selling skills will be a valued asset as you manage existing relationships and develop new ones.
• Using your extensive experience in the automotive refinish experience or in a related sales field, you will establish trust and value in our ever-changing industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year

• Automotive Coatings (top, clear, primer, sealer, etc.): 7 years (Preferred)
• Refinish Technical Support (resolving paint/coating issues): 7 years (Preferred)
• Collison Automotive Painter: 7 years (Preferred)

• paint mixing systems (BASF/Deedos/Axalta/PPG): 7 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License in good standing (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
