About this Position:
Social Driver is looking to add a Copywriter to its rapidly growing creative studio. Supported by dedicated account and project management support, this role works with clients to uncover opportunities to bring their message forward in a way that is innovative and highly impactful. This role sits within the creative studio which specializes in creating copy for social and digital media. You will be integral in the process from client onboarding to storyboarding, to animation and post-production.
Reporting to our Associate Creative Director and Creative Team Lead, our future copywriter is a general practitioner as well as a specialist. We need someone who can think big but isn’t afraid to tackle more ground level copy tasks. From stand alone projects to national campaigns, you’ll be responsible for creating copy for taglines, social media, email, video, pitch decks, plus a bunch of other stuff that the writer of this job description can’t think of right now (which is why we need a copywriter). You’ll flex your creative muscles while collaborating with designers, digital strategists, motion graphics artists, and social media managers to create engaging copy that produces results.

This position is eligible for fully remote work.
Objectives & Responsibilities:
- Works with the department to create concepts and ideas
- Ability to follow creative briefs and/or brand guidelines and develop copy independently as well as collaboratively with others
- Write, edit, and revise copy across all assigned campaigns/clients
- Strong understanding of word economy
- Ability to paint visual pictures utilizing words
- Deliver copy in an efficient, timely manner
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to occasional quick turn deadlines
- Ability to independently dictate both and solve project issues in an efficient manner without consistent support.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to internal and external team members.
Requirements:
- Basic: communications, time management & best practices
- Proficient: concepting and ideating
- Expert: short form and long form copywriting, tagline writing, and copy editing
Bonus Points:
- Slack: familiarity with communicating via Slack
- Asana: familiarity with Asana and/or other project management systems
- Figma: familiarity with brainstorming via Figma
- Booards: familiarity with storyboard edits via Booards
