DELIVERY ROUTE DRIVER NEEDED FOR ASAP DELIVERY ROUTE

Job Description:

The Route Delivery Driver daily needs of the Branch Location. The position involves loading, delivering, product accounting and other functions involved in servicing a variety of customers. This position is not assigned to a specific route or day.

• Deliver product to customers in an efficient, timely, courteous and accurate manner.
• Picking up specified company packages on a timely and consistent basis
• Secure and maintain distribution of all authorized company products.
• Ensure sufficient route inventory levels to meet customer demands while adhering to account inventory control and company distribution procedures.
• Submit all customer paperwork and deposits daily; including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintain proper handheld records for all accounts.
• Resolve customer complaints.
• Must maintain idle time to company standards
• Must be able to complete assigned route within DOT time regulations.
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.75 - $12.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekends
