The Compliance Manager (CM) is responsible for providing high quality ATP-CTP and Contract instruction through leading and motivating a team of individuals that are responsible for the distribution of the ATP-CTP and Contract Training Programs. Oversight of the programs instructor recruitment, selection, qualification, and continuing training. Oversight of curriculum development and maintenance. The CM ensures regulatory compliance across the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved programs and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) of which s/he is the point of contact. This position will report to the President at Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines.
- Interface with the ATP-CTP Program Manager to identify target needs and staffing requirements.
- Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and supporting ATP-CTP and contract instructors.
- Oversee instructor/evaluator qualification and continuing qualification training.
- Maintain FAR Part 142 Certificate
- Maintain program and instructor records.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable FAA regulations.
- Ensure Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) compliance.
- Maintenance of all FAA-approved core and specialty curriculums.
- Oversee subject matter experts for courseware development
- Responsible for driving continual instructor performance improvement and ensuring quality assurance.
- Coordinate with clients regarding curriculum and training device hardware/software requirements.
- Write and distribute periodic ATP-CTP and Contract Training employee communication
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Solid organizational and leadership skills.
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) and with a minimum of two years of 14 CFR Part 121 Air Carrier experience.
- Conversant with Airline Line Operations and Training Requirements of 14 CFR Parts 61, 91, 121, 125, 135. 137,141, & 142.
- Ability to qualify as an ATP-CTP instructor as described in FAA Advisory Circular AC 61-138.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Solid computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other Delta/DPS software.
- Solid course development skills
- Ability to work across multi-divisional groups to strengthen relationships within Delta Airlines Flight Operations.
