Summary
The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Doctor.
Responsibilities
- Seating and preparing patients for treatment. Assist with chair-side duties as required.
- Maintain infection control, materials, instruments and equipment
- Prepare operatories with instruments and supplies. Dismiss patient and disinfect operatories. Provide post-operative instructions as required.
- Take digital radiographs
- Maintain an inventory of supplies
- Monitor laboratory cases by logging cases leaving and returning to the clinic
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent certificate required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills. Data entry or PC experience.
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience required
