Elm Family Dentistry is an institution of West Springfield. We are a two-doctor general dentistry practice that focuses on prevention and the relationship between oral health and overall health. Our dentists provide general and rehabilitative dentistry that can be truly life-changing, such as cosmetic dentistry, full mouth-rehabilitation, and full-arch implant restoration.

Many of our patients have been with the practice for 30+ years, and our team shares a similar sense of stability; our team members are treated very well and they tend to stay with our office for decades. There is a great office culture that spans generations from recent graduates to a hygienist with 45 years of experience.

Overall, our office is known for its customer service, so excellent customer service skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Take radiographs including full mouth series and panoramic (our radiographs are fully digital)
• Other tasks normally expected of a dental assistant

Applicants must have an active CDA/RDA license in Massachusetts and must have experience working with digital radiography and electronic dental records. Pay will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
