Seeking hard-working, motivated and reliable receptionist for pediatric dental office. This position requires effective communication skills, as well as time management and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently as well as with a team. The ideal candidate should also have a positive attitude and a fun personality! Hours are Monday – Thursday 7:30-5:00. Previous dental front office experience preferred.

As a front office team member, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties. Some of these include:

• Greeting patients as they enter to create a great first impression
• Answering phones
• Checking office mail and email
• Communicating with patients, insurance companies, and other providers
• Utilizing practice management and automation software
• Scheduling, confirming and managing appointments
• Reviewing patient charts and accounts
• Filing insurance claims and following up on outstanding claims
• Accurately collecting payments and co-payments
• Verification of benefits and explanation of coverage
• Posting payments
• Reviewing treatment plans and payment options
• Enforcing office policies in professional, compassionate manner
• Cross -training in sterilization/turning rooms over

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
