Established in 2006, Haul Away Services is a family owned and operated company in Middle Tennessee. Operating out of Mount Pleasant, TN, Haul Away Services is a full service Solid Waste, Recycling and disposal company. Proudly servicing over 2,500 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in the Middle Tennessee area.

Haul Away Services is looking for a full time diesel mechanic. Must be familiar with working on commercial trucks such as trailers, roll off, and front load trucks.

Hours are Monday through Friday.

Job Duties

• Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failures and assign repairs.
• Perform all work within standard repair times.
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
• Performs repairs and preventive maintenance services.
• Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.

Requirements

Must have 2 years experience working with Commercial truck vehicles.

A Valid drivers license

Successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
