REPORTS TO: Executive Director

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for leading FCC’s victim service divisions to ensure victims and survivors of violent crimes receive high quality services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure efficiency and quality of all FCC’s services.
Provide leadership and directional support for direct reports.
Oversee organizational reporting and monitoring of all FCC’s metrics and measurements to ensure outcomes and programming are meeting the needs of the clients served.
Assist in creating new victim service plans and program designs.
Participate in public speaking engagements to further the mission of FCC.
Assist with grant searching, writing and management.
Garner new corporate and individual awareness of FCC’s programing and needs statewide.
Assist divisions with victim services as deemed necessary.
Communicate with staff to ensure growth and sustainability of FCC’s programming through outreach, donations, pledges and fundraising.
Work with Executive Director to oversee and enhance the organizational culture.
Troubleshoot and strategize to address departmental and organizational challenges.
Represent FCC at community, regional and statewide meetings and events.
Provide presentations to community groups desiring to learn more about FCC’s programs and services.
Ensure the training curriculum used for new hires and for continued education is high quality and effective.
Attend FCC’s Board Meetings to provide victim services updates.
Work within the administration team to ensure that FCC’s image, branding and public perception remains strong.
Travel is required. 40% of weekly work hours should be spent traveling to support staff in FCC’s service area. Overnight stays occur quarterly.
All duties as requested by Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in non-profit management, human services or related field or equivalent experience. Two years of supervisory experience in related field. Human resource experience preferred.
Previous experience in crisis counseling networking, advocacy and crisis intervention skills preferred.
Must demonstrate ability to organize, prioritize and plan work in order to meet deadlines; behavior management techniques, confidentiality and observation/recording techniques.
Ability to complete mandatory training to quality as a victim advocate within 30 days of employment.
Ability to travel statewide.
Ability to pass law enforcement screening and background check.
