The Williamsburg Hotel is an independent lifestyle boutique hotel looking for a proactive Director of Revenue to stay on top of the surrounding markets and continuously evaluate our online presence.

Job Description:

· Maintain a consistent selling strategy across the GDS, PMS, negotiated accounts, and third-party online systems ensuring thorough use of availability rate controls in all systems.

· Monitor local and global strategies and data.

· Check competitor strategy on a continuous basis, review their pricing and availability.

· Produce weekly forecasts for trend analysis and decision support. Plan and direct revenue meetings.

· Complete and analyze monthly reports for submission to the corporate office.

· Prepare and analyze all appropriate reports to present at management meetings.

· Ensure relevant revenue issues are investigated and analyzed.

· Identify, propose, and implement potential new opportunities to improve revenue management.

Requirements:

· 1-2 years’ experience as a Director of Revenue.

· Knowledge of TravelClick, Ideas is essential.

· Demonstrated knowledge of effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization and selling strategies.

· Strong analytical skills and high level of problem-solving skills is needed with a knowledge of the local market.

· Excellent communication skills to conduct presentations and training.

· Knowledge of Opera is a must.
