River Academy childcare facility is located in the Boise/Eagle area. We are an early childhood program that provides an environment that is safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate. Our classrooms are purposely planned to encourage curiosity and exploration, build problem-solving skills, foster individual decision-making, and grow independence and self-sufficiency skills. We are looking for a highly motivated teacher to inspire and be part of a great team. This is an excellent chance to join a friendly, vibrant and dynamic team environment.

Teachers at River Academy also qualify for a monthly wage enhancement of $300 when all qualifications are met. This is on going until funds run out!

Responsibilities:

• Engage with children and get down on their level
• Help with the delivery and planning of curriculum founded on the center's philosophies.
• Help with creating a positive learning environment
• Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior
• Build good, open communication with children, families and staff
• Help with observing and recording children's growth and development
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe

You will need:

• Boise childcare license and CPR/first aid certification is a plus (Will work with you upon hire)
• Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Energy to match a 3 year old who wants to play tag
• Must love building relationships with children

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
