A Snapshot of Your Day

  • Provide commercial and proposal support for the development of Master Frame Agreements, LTPs, complex M&U and integrated solutions opportunities.
  • Support the presentation of opportunities throughout the bid process for the GS NA Sales Distributed organization.
  • Review and analyze financial and commercial components of internal/external customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
  • Together with the Project Manager and Commercial Project Manager ensure the accuracy of the cost and pricing calculation for existing contract renegotiations.
  • Participate in activities associated with order turnover to project implementation and alignment of customer expectations.
  • Identify and support the development of strategies, efficiencies, and responsibilities to turn service proposals into orders and improve alignment/consistency of processes within GS NA.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy and local accounting guidelines.
  • For cross border projects: Evaluate and determine appropriate trading model in compliance with relevant tax regulations per PATAC guidance.
  • Identify any foreign currency risk within proposals and implement mitigation strategy.
  • Support any Guarantee or letters of credit requirements identified during the bid phase.
  • S NA leadership.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting
  • 10 years of professional experience in FIN
  • Thorough understanding of FRGs and IFRS
  • Experience with strategic financial evaluations in long-term project business
  • Experience within project management, marketing, or cost estimation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The candidate should have demonstrated skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines is required.
  • Candidate should be able to effectively communicate technical financial information to non-financial internal customers.
  • Required amount of travel ~10%
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Prior project (Percentage of Completion) accounting or financial planning/reporting experience
  • Commercial Project or Sales Management @ Siemens Certification
  • International project experience
