POSITION OVERVIEW:
We're looking for a freelance copywriter who has a high level of creativity, exceptional sales and SEO copywriting skills, marketing savvy, and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Write copy for all marketing channels, including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, and more
- Proofread content for grammatical accuracy and maintain style consistency across pieces
- Provide high-quality assurance on all copy-related deliverables
- Understand client strategy and translate it into engaging, well-written copy
- Conceptualize and collaborate with the Creative Director and design team
- Brainstorm campaigns for existing and prospective clients
- Make corrections and/or changes on client materials when needed
- Actively contribute to the development of the agency's culture and standards of quality
- Meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 5+ years of copywriting experience
- Automotive experience (preferred)
- Excellent wordsmithing and editing skills
- A good ear for capturing voice and tone
- A passion for creative work and eagerness to collaborate with others
- Motivation and a super-strong work ethic
- BA/BS in English, Communications, or Marketing (preferred but not required)
