Full Time Teacher Assistant

Do you love working with children ages 8 weeks-10 years? The Ithaca Community Childcare Center (IC3) is now hiring a Full Time Teacher Assistant. Work 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday between 7:30-5:30. $15.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on education. Benefits eligible with paid holidays, paid vacation and sick. $500 sign on bonus after 6 months of employment.

Ideal candidate will:

• be able to establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• assist teachers with designing and implementing an age appropriate classroom/learning environment
• have the ability to appropriately and productively respond to the needs of both the children and parents in the classroom
• have team-oriented problem solving skills
• abide by OCFS regulations
• be responsible, reliable, and dependable
• have clear, direct communication style (written and verbal)
