At OS Salon, an Aveda Content Salon, our mission is simple: Build confidence, once client at a time. A simple phrase that embodies our core values. Our goal is to ensure that each client departs the salon happy, with a look they love and can also maintain.
OS Salon has a fun, fast paced, and most importantly, team focused environment. We hire stylists of all experience levels with great attitude, energy, and, of course a willingness to go beyond what is required to complete the client’s experience. As a stylist, you can expect to have one-on-one coaching if necessary, be supported by our marketing team to build clientele, and also will have opportunities to travel to Chicago to take classes at the Aveda Institute of Chicago.

Responsibilities
- Provide a great client experience
- Perform complimentary Aveda sensory rituals
- Sell products and pre-book appointments
- Side work including, but not limited to: dusting, cleaning, sweeping, inventory, cleaning dishes/glasses, re-stocking product shelves, daily sanitation assignments
- Meeting scheduling requirements
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license for Illinois
- Amazing styling and finishing skills
- Desire to provide exceptional service
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate and motivated
- Ability to work with and be a part of a team!
