Job description
At Cadence, we believe that a better quality of life – for both our patients and employees – begins with better care.
Cadence helps the nation’s most patient-centric health systems deliver more consistent, proactive healthcare to patients every day. Cadence’s remote patient monitoring and intervention solution couples powerful technology with clinical excellence to provide patients with precise, personal care at home. Whether you are a product manager or registered nurse, a staff engineer or a nurse practitioner, your work will directly impact the quality of life for Cadence patients.
The Cadence Solutions team seeks a Head of Product to build the industry-leading remote monitoring platform to accelerate Cadence’s growth and deliver world-class outcomes. The Head of Product will shape, lead, and scale our next phase of growth. This is a critical role on our leadership team. We need a strong leader who is both a big-picture thinker: capable of surveying our vast landscape of operational complexity, and a hands-on doer: capable of translating that into a product vision, direction, and roadmap on which the company can execute.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Identify the highest impact investment opportunities and see them through to the finish line, owning stakeholder relationships and in-market success.
- Champion a culture of obsession for your stakeholders (providers, patients, and clinicians) and always call into question our assumptions in the context of what our patients need.
- Set the tempo and work hands-on with teams to ensure that they ship early and often. Know when you can move faster, and when to pull back.
- Own the product strategy for the team and jump in and help scope features, talk to customers and internal stakeholders, and get your hands dirty.
- Lean in, get curious, and ask the right questions. Our product and industry are complex, and our clinicians and employees are insanely knowledgeable.
- Build a data-fueled growth machine that leverages research, experimentation, and analysis to uncover and solve stakeholder pain points on a day-to-day and week-to-week cadence.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Minimum 15+ years experience, with at least 5 leading the function
- Passion for building a business that transforms the healthcare industry
- Ability to both “lead” and “do”
- Leadership to set and rally a team to achieve measurable goals
- Comfort making hard decisions and moving quickly
- Experience managing a highly functioning Product team
- Organization and reliability; you will bring structure to complexity
- Ambition, tenacity, and superior problem-solving skills
- Excitement to interact with external partners, sales teams, and customers
WHO WE ARE:
- Seeks responsibility — can be trusted and empowered to make decisions and deliver results.
- Loves rolling-up sleeves and going from 0 to 1 — everyone, no matter how senior, contributes meaningfully.
- Extraordinarily candid — delivers and receives feedback with integrity
- Exceeds expectations — goes above and beyond for co-workers, patients, clinicians, hospitals, and communities.
- Never satisfied — keeps iterating & improving and embraces a growth mindset.
- Values speed & quality — understands that both can be done!
WHAT YOU’LL GET:
Cadence recognizes the unique needs of its diverse and distributed workforce, and the team strives to provide an engaging work environment for its world-class clinicians and technologists.
- Company culture all about impact, shared growth mindset, empowerment, and integrity
- An opportunity to help improve the quality of life of millions of patients
