Head of Supply Chain

Lexington Medical is seeking a supply chain leader to build and manage a global supply chain in a high-growth environment. What you will do:

• Lead and grow our supply chain team
• Define and execute our sourcing strategies
• Develop and own the global supply base
• Lead the RFQ process and supplier negotiations for new product and sustaining programs
• Manage supplier performance to drive continuous improvement on quality, delivery time, and cost
• Develop and lead the SOIP (Sales Operations Inventory Planning) process
• Drive the development of a highly efficient and scalable materials management function, including warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment
• Collaborate with Engineering to influence technical design decisions and NPI strategies
• Participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of our ERP system
• Establish functional goals and objectives and drive performance to ensure attainment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred), Supply Chain or Operations
• At least 7 years of supply chain experience, including in a leadership role
• Exceptional negotiation and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional environment
• Experience in sourcing and material planning for new product programs
• Track record in implementing world-class sourcing strategies and supply chain continuous improvement programs
• Experience in managing supply chain in complex manufacturing environments highly desirable.
• Experience with a start-up organization is a plus
• Experience in regulatory industries such as medical device, semiconductor, automotive or firearms desired.
• Experience in NPI, starting up and scaling volume production, and production transfers.
• Solid knowledge in ERP/MRP systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skill, ability to make difficult decisions.
• Hands-on leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop team.
