Position: Health Plan Coordinator
Department: Accounting/Finance
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: REMOTE
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

**This position pays a competitive hourly rate and has a potential monthly bonus of $100 after the first 90 days of employment**



Overview of Position
The Health Plan Coordinator carries primary responsibilities that include Account Management, building and maintaining relationships with requesters, meeting urgent deadlines, and providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.

In addition to demonstrating ScanSTAT Technologies values applicable to all positions, the Health Plan Coordinator is responsible for the following:

Duties and Tasks:

  • Oversee Account management for clients/requesters
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email and mail in a professional manner
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and to assist with reaching urgent deadlines.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly status updates to requesters for open inventory
  • Accept new inventory and distribute pull lists
  • Maintain accurate records pertaining to completed and open inventory of audit requests
  • Communicate with other departments within the company to facilitate audit review fulfillment
  • Communicate with Management on any circumstances or problems that require attention
  • Update user instructions in system as needed.
  • Participate in assisting with other department needs
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Understands that this role requires specific responsibilities for protecting sensitive data
  • HEDIS & Risk Adjustment review/auditing

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Placement Criteria:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • HEDIS & Risk Adjustment review experience

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and drive or ride in a motor vehicle. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
