Job description

The equipment operator must be familiar with all aspects of skid loader and front end loader machinery. This position is capable of working with minimal direct supervision and can meet production, quality and safety standards, all while maintaining a professional manner.

Responsibilities of the Equipment Operator:

• Follows instructions given by field manager.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety standards.
• Properly and safely operates all equipment.
• Reports to work on time and 100% prepared and shows up for ALL SNOW EVENTS.
• Able to perform all daily preventative maintenance on all snow equipment.
• Ensures company production and quality standards are met.

Skills:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience operating a skid loader and/or front end loader. Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance. Physically able to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude at all times. Precise, efficient, and safe snow equipment operations.

Experience & Education:

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Clean driving record and valid driver’s license Ability to operate a mobile device for time tracking and service documentation Clean criminal record and must pass a drug test Physically able to handle labor-intensive duties and work long hours (up to 10 hours shifts) Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Compensation & Benefits: $28-31 / hour, depending on experience.

All snow team members are on-call for ALL snow events Holiday pay is applicable With good performance, you may have the opportunity to join our company for spring construction or maintenance.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• On call
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks must be worn in trucks when other passengers are in the vehicle.
