HR Accounting Specialist who handles diverse and simultaneous office tasks. Competent in managing confidential information, organizing business activities, and maintaining current accounts and business paperwork. Well-versed in supporting executives and staff. Accurate and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a self-starter atmosphere. Effective problem solver: skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements that increase accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. Dependable team player who will bring passion and knowledge to any task while simultaneously earning a solid foundation in business administration and management skills. Seeking a Human Resources/Accounting role where hard work and dedication will be highly valued.

Qualifications

· Exceptional organizational, follow-up skills, and attention to detail

· Comfortable in a time-sensitive environment

· Advanced level Excel skills

· Experience in accounting and/or HR department and able to manage a variety of duties

· Experience with payroll

· Ability to multi-task and work independently

Responsibilities

· Accounts Payable - record transactions in the accounting system daily and prepare the Aging Report for the Controller on a weekly basis

· Accounts Receivable – record transactions in the accounting system daily

· Prepare Bank Deposits

· Company Compliance

· Check the mail daily, scan, and distribute

· Manage Employee Anniversary, Birthdays, Org Chart, and Distribution Lists

· Onboarding and Termination Checklist Tasks

· Onboarding New Employees along with the Controller - internal and contract

1. Mailing welcome gear at start date and 90 days

2. Sending welcome email to all employees

· Insurance Eligibility and Enrollment

· Assist with Benefits for Employees

· Setting up new employees and contractors in the HR system

· Vacation Tracking

· Schedule travel arrangements for employees

· Managing all inquiries for the company via email and phone

· Update employee profile in HR system

· Managing office inventory

· Set up conference room for meetings

· Create weekly reports for leaders on an as needed basis

· Supporting Audits

Job Type: Full-time
