HR Generalist –
Our client is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team in Chicago, IL! The ideal candidate will be professional, assertive, and be excited to support the talent management staff.
Pay: $25-$28/hourly
Job Description:
- Manage benefit administration and putting together benefit packets
- Recruiting for corporate roles and nurses
- Manage Open Enrollment with employees
- Manage HR Employee documentation
- Manage and put together new hire packets
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Screen resumes for open positions
- Assist with time card and payroll questions with employees (ADP)
- Assist with workers compensation claims
- Set up virtual calls with employees to assist with questions
- Managing onboarding process for new hires
- Serve as a main point of contact for employees within warehouse
- Manage new hire documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
- Minimum of 2 years supporting an HR or talent management department
- Knowledgeable of HR programs, such as benefits and recruiting
- Training planning, development, and implementation experience
- Policy development experience
- Strong critical thinking and project management skills
- Trustworthiness and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to accurately generate reports as needed
