Job Summary: The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for professionally performing people-related duties working closely with senior leadership in supporting people initiatives in all geographic regions of the company. Responsible for executing, directing, and coordinating people policies and activities, while ensuring safety and legal compliance. The HR Generalist must be the champion of the Crunch culture! Further, they must have the grit to manage the tactical and strategic activities of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Champions the organization's goals and strategy in creating a positive experience throughout the entire employee life cycle.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified managerial, exempt, and professional employees.
- Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for each position and building and delivers talent acquisition and training programs to support those roles.
- Manages employment-related concerns of applicants, employees, and supervisors.
- Professionally and expertly acts when dealing with complex and/or sensitive matters and engages only the appropriate leaders in the situation.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategic goals.
- Responsible for the administration of human resource activities including, but not limited to, compensation planning, benefits administration, leave management, talent management, and succession/replacement planning.
- Understands the employee experience and develops and delivers recognition programs and morale improvement initiatives
- Addresses all disciplinary matters, manages disputes and investigations with appropriate internal team members and external partners.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system and creates reporting packages for the leadership team.
- Monitors and ensures the organization complies with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Facilitates professional development, training and training events and meetings, and certification activities for HR and the organization.
- Thoroughly documents all employee performance and conduct issues and works with General Counsel when necessary. Minimizes people-related risks for the organization.
- Administers the company’s HRIS system (Paycor).
- Ensures employees are properly certified to do their jobs. Tracks certification expirations.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar HR Generalist position
- Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with employees at all levels
- Experience developing and implementing HR programs and policies
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Passion for wellness and fitness preferred
Business & Physical Requirements:
- Travel up to 25%
- Work will mostly be performed from company headquarters. Once fully functioning in the role, there may be an opportunity for a partial remote arrangement.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to access and navigate and communicate with all department heads in the organization
