Job description
We are looking for an HR Rep to join our organization. While this is a 100% remote position, the candidate must reside in the DFW metroplex area. In this position, the candidate will help organize, coordinate, and carry out related projects/processes for the company. The HR Rep works directly with and assists the Human Resources Department to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks, such as recruiting orientations, onboarding, benefits, training and special projects. This person must track and maintain employee data using the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software, so strong computer and clerical skills are a must. The HR Rep helps maintain positive employee relations and works to ensure employee satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and, most importantly, personable and approachable.
Essential Functions

- Supports HR Department in educating employees on and enforcing company policies
- Transitions pending new hires from Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Performs administrative duties, such as processing and approval of transactions, data input, and verification of required documentation
- Builds and improves current practices, shares ideas and takes ownership of assigned duties and projects
- Prepares offer letters and coordinates pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug screening
- Follows up with candidates on the results of their interview
- Communicates with hiring managers regarding the progress on applicant screenings, interviews, and hiring/onboarding processes
- Conducts new hire orientations
- Assist with special event planning
- Assist the HR Director with coordination of benefits, 401k and
- Handles all incoming request from employees dealing with the employee data, benefits, HRIS system
- Ad hoc HR projects
- Handles the I-9 verification process and maintenance/audits.

Requirements
- High school diploma
- Must have strong communication skills,
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to utilize HRIS systems
Work Environment
This job operates in a 100% remote setting. This role routinely uses computers and Microsoft software including but not limited to Microsoft 365 suite of products.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday
Travel
Some local day travel may be required. Rare overnight travel may be required
