We're seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and hard-working individual, eager to join our Employment Center team.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
- Fully understand and demonstrate Six Flags culture, values and company policy
- Daily operations of the Employment Center to include interviewing applicants, and new/re-hire processing
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing calls are handled in a prompt and courteous manner
- Tracking of I9 Documentation
- Assist with maintaining proper staffing levels at all times
- Ensure all pre-employment/background checks are done accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the Employment Center
- Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance with regards to company policy and relevant employment laws through coaching and presentation
- Data maintenance of information into the labor tracking system on a continuous basis as a partner to Labor Optimization and Payroll to ensure Team Members are paid accurately
- Strong attention to detail and data entry
- Assist with project work as needed to include training, research, and other projects that support the business
- Assist Park Leadership with coaching by providing requested support
- Participate in recruiting events
- Support and implement initiatives to ensure a positive and healthy work environment across all Six Flags Fiesta Texas Departments
- Aid other areas of HR and other related functional teams in order to achieve goals
- All other tasks necessary to the operation of the Employment Center and Human Resources Department
WHAT YOU NEED:
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- 1+ year experience in Human Resources, but not required
- 1+ year of Theme Park experience or experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Familiarization of UltiPro/UKG, Optim8, Smartsheets, and Sterling but not required
- Date entry experience preferred
- Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, vibrant team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format
- Discrete approach to sensitive, confidential and complex employee relations issues
- Demonstrated strong written/verbal communication and facilitation/presentation skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Computer skills with MS Office
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work well with limited supervision
- Friendly, outgoing personality, and the desire to interact with candidates
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

- May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole
