Job description

Taldeco is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our automated machinery and systems, ensuring that they operate at optimal levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, motors, PLCs, vision systems, robotics experience, and welding/fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on automated machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and solve problems related to PLC programming, motion control, and vision systems
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring issues
• Install, commission, and modify automated equipment and systems
• Fabricate and weld as necessary to repair or modify equipment
• Provide technical support to production personnel and other departments as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Experience with PLCs, motion control, and vision systems
• Proficient in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required

Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
