Position Requirements:
Master’s degree in a Recreational Therapy or related field. Experience in clinical interviewing and knowledge of the concept and philosophy of Activity Therapy in the treatment process is required. One year experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse facility preferred.

Essential Job Duties:
- Develop and deliver therapeutic programs for patients and make treatment recommendations that are individualized to circumstances and needs of each patient in conjunction with interdisciplinary treatment team
- Effectively contribute to the discharge planning of patients
- Collaborate with clinical management on scheduling activity therapy sessions based on patient and hospital needs
- Will oversee and monitor Activity therapy patient care programs and treatment outcomes
- Provide individual and/or group evaluation in treatment sessions
