CID is growing and we are looking for someone to join us in our Interior Design Studio Coordinator role! In this role, you will use your design eye, love of organization, and vendor relationships to keep the team informed about newly available finishes and materials. You will manage the resource library to provide an organized and efficient space and also support amazing multifamily + hospitality design projects across teams! WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Research pricing of materials, new product & lines to present to CID design team.
• Schedule all vendor representative visits and add to CID Event calendar.
• Order samples of all specified finishes as needed.
• Prepare warranty and care binders pre FFE installation.
• Assist production team with pulling finishes for design documents.
• Negotiate and acquire the most competitive pricing possible.
• Ensure studio library is updated with most current resources and catalogs. Remove discontinued literature.
• Label and tag all project samples.
• Keep project bins organized and tidy.
• Keep studio organized and tidy with weekly filing of discarded items.
• Break down finish bins upon completion of installation per instruction of Project Manager.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially MS PowerPoint), MS Project a plus etc.
• Experience with lighting, flooring, fixtures, equipment and furniture
• Experience working with various vendors of interior design
• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, preferably from an accredited institution desired.
• Very strong organizational skills
• Very strong attention to detail
• Consistently follows thru on all tasks until completion
