POSITION DESCRIPTION: An Irrigation Specialist’s main role at DeHamer is to work under the direction of the foreman and assist the rest of the irrigation team in installing residential irrigation systems with quality and efficiency.

Hours: 40+ hours per week - hours will vary by season. During primary landscaping season this will include overtime hours and off-season hours will be less. Off season hours may include snow-plowing based on need.

Salary: $15-$18+ per hour based on skill & experience

Purpose: Fulfill the mission of DeHamer Landscaping by working alongside foreman with teams that install residential and commercial irrigation systems

Goals: Serve the customer and the organization by leading a team to finish projects on time, on budget and accident-free.

Responsibilities:

The Project: Executing the installation of residential and commercial irrigation systems is the primary role. A typical day will be getting assigned to a project, loading up efficiently, and working with your team to install new irrigation systems.

DeHamer Landscaping: You are the lead representative of the organization on the project, so your team is under your care and direction. In addition, you are best equipped to help us do what we do better and more efficiently by providing feedback.

The Customer: While on-site you are the primary point of contact for our customer and need to think constantly about the impression the customer (and potential customers around you) has of DeHamer Landscaping.

Leader: Everyone leads at DeHamer Landscaping. As a participant in regular meetings and discussions on the direction of DeHamer Landscaping, they will provide input, accept feedback and help shape what we do.

• Capacity to work consistently all day in a physically demanding environment

• Positive attitude and attention to detail

• Assisting foreman with job costing and necessary paperwork

• Skill in operating skid steers and attachments, dump trucks, and trailers proficiently

• Strength in operating hand tools
