We are seeking a Junior Program Manager to oversee our federal contract near Washington, D.C. This position will report directly to the Program Manager.
Position Summary
- Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Establish and alter (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
- Craft and enforce quality control programs.
- Establish a uniform interpretation of the task/project requirements, develops comprehensive plans to meet requirements, and maintains a continuous overview of work.
- Keep designated federal staff up to date on progress and status.
- Responsible for assisting with collection of quality metrics/data and performance of assigned work products and deliverables.
- Support the retention of existing business, while identifying and leading growth opportunities.
- Collect data, monitor contract performance, and develop plans to address gaps and issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and MIRACORP employees.
- Collaborate with Government Points of Contact to meet their needs.
- Mentor, coach, and guide employees on a variety of issues.
Your Experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must pass a thorough federal (DOE) pre-employment background investigation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or a related field.
- Six years of accounting or financial experience, including 4 years of increasing responsibilities in assignment supervision and management.
- Must be capable of leading projects that involve the successful management of multifunctional teams.
- Specialized experience includes project development, expertise in management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to cope with changing and competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situations
