Job Details:
Kids Express is a one-of-a-kind pediatric-focused health care option. It combines the convenience of a retail clinic approach and online scheduling with the pediatric expertise of a specially trained nurse practitioner.
Kids Express Techs hours are 10a-8p M-F and 9a-9p Sat-Sun. KE Techs work every third weekend. Employees are able to work at Mason Kids express and West Chester Kids Express.
Department Specific Job Details:
Responsible for assisting the nurse practitioner in completion of patient care activities, taking into consideration the patient’s developmental levels. Demonstrates strong communication skills, accepts delegated tasks and has the knowledge and understanding to ask questions and report patient information as indicated. Appropriately handles patient information understanding confidentiality and privacy. Complies with the safety management program designed to provide a physical environment free of hazards and to reduce the risk of injury. Is knowledgeable about and responsive to the mission of the hospital. The KE Tech promotes a patient and family experience oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet the rapidly changing census and needs of all customers-both internal and external.
An active CPR - BLS certificate is required to begin working in this role.
