Job Details for the Legal Assistant:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM, in office.
- Pay Rate: $55,000-$65,000
- Direct Hire Role!
Job Responsibilities for the Legal Assistant:
- Communicating with clients, expert witnesses, courtroom staff, and commercial vendors as a Legal Assistant.
- Taking or transcribing dictation, minutes of meetings, taped records of conferences, settlement discussions, or interviews.
- Scheduling and arranging meetings (including any travel arrangements), conferences and/or depositions (whether in-person or by telephone) with clients, attorneys or other individuals and notifying the interested parties as a Legal Assistant.
Job Requirements for the Legal Assistant:
- 3 years of Legal Assistant experience is required.
- Experience with Insurance Defense Litigation is required as a Legal Assistant.
- Legal database experience is preferred.
