JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $17.00 per hour

1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stager/checker/shuttle driver/Material Handler
• Loads product on trailer using packing list to verify that all parts are accounted for
• Places parts on trailer in a safe hauling manner in accordance to manufacturing procedures to insure product does not get damaged during shipment
• Required to operate a forklift and loading crane
• Must be able to work outside in shipping yard

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Pass pre-employment assessment test, background check, and drug screen
• Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
• Package, crate or load items to insure safe arrival and capacity loading
• Packages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as required
• Ability to operate forklifts and other lifting equipment
• Ability to operate a yard truck and move 48’- 53’ trailers
• Must constantly check each load being made to assure that the job is complete
• Must expedite completion of work in process to meet production schedules
• Assist with inventory counts as required
• Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
• May be assigned other projects or duties as designated by the Team Leader
• Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Be Personally Responsible
• Be a Team Player
• Work hours as required
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
