Job Description: This is an in-office position and is to fulfill orders per customers' guidelines and requests, whether it's prepaid, prepaid and bill, or collect, via UPS, FedEx, USPS or LTL. Visit www.barska.com to learn more about Barska.

Functions and Duties:

· Download and process incoming orders from various different sources including EDI

· Create Shipping Label/Bill of Landing (UPS, FedEx, USPS and Other Common Carrier for LTL shipments)

· Schedule shipment and transportation arrangement, create ASN turnaround

· Quote shipping rates on regular basis to ensure best economical shipping method

· Review and follow strict policies and procedures within Vendor Compliance Guidelines

· Maintain positive customer and carrier relations

· Consolidate and summarize shipment requirement of Customers' requests

· Effectively handling day-to-day logistics operations

· File claims for lost/damaged goods w/ common shipping carrier

· Responsible for adherence to all company policies and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Qualification:

· AA or AS degree in Business or related major preferred

· Ability to read, interpret written information and documents, such as routing guides, compliance, operations procedure manuals

· Highly motivated with sense of urgency

· Pay attention to details and accuracy

· Computer literate in MS Outlook, Excel, Word

· Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), problem solving skills

· Bilingual in English and Chinese a plus

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
