STARTING RATE: $26.00 (paying $26.00 - $28.14 per hour, depending on experience)
SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $3,000
SHIFT: Part-Time, Full-Time, All Shifts

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An LPN promotes the residents' health, wellness, and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. An LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and handles a diverse range of tasks, including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, and documenting the clinical data of patients, among other duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients.
• Working closely with others in a fast-paced, team environment under the direction of the Nurse Manager
• Accountable for ensuring that competent care and safety are consistently delivered to all residents.
• This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living experience.
• Handles physician orders, administers medications, collects and maintains resident data, takes vitals, assists with resident comfort
• Assure proper procedures are followed at all times
• Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manner

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current and valid license as an LPN in the state of New York required
• Degree from an accredited school or nursing/nursing program is required
• Current CPR certification required
• Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
• Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
• Strong customer service skills and compassion
