Job description
We're hiring a key full-time position on our nursing team, LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse). This position has a schedule pattern known as a 2/2/3 rotation. Your two week pattern will repeat- (3) 12 hr shifts your first week, then (4) 12 hr shifts your second week, to include every other weekend. The hours for day shift will very 6am-6pm & 7am - 7pm however night shift hours are 6pm-6am.
Working as a Charge LVN in assisted living is an opportunity unique from all other health care facilities. Not only are supervisory and leadership experience essential, but Charge Nurses in assisted living must also possess compassion, patience, and understanding. - LVN observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes.
- Provides necessary documentation in the EMR of all information relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
- Consults with Nursing Coordinator and/or Administrator regarding changes in Patient's condition.
- Ensures that each Patient's attending physician and family or responsible party is promptly notified of any significant change in the Patient's health condition.
- LVN ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Responsible for assuring resident safety.
- LVN participates in assigning duties and ensures the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
