Job Summary/General Description
Radiation Oncology office is seeking a full-time MA /Patient Appointment Coordinator who will assist the clinic between front and back office depending on patient needs. This position will primarily be based in Puyallup, but will have the opportunity to work at the Gig Harbor/Tacoma office as the need arises.
The Successful candidate will possess the following:
A friendly, outgoing personality and able to provide excellent customer service in a busy Radiation Oncology office.
Requirements:
MA certification Preferred
Participate in the direct and indirect care of patients, health maintenance, patient instructions as within scope of practice and consistent with one’s education and training. Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records, medical terminology, MS Outlook, scanning documents and general office equipment. Tacoma/Valley Radiation is a tobacco free workplace.
Experience Required:
2+ years experience in a medical office is required. Demonstrated working knowledge of appointment scheduling, medical insurance, EMR, patient registration and manage a high volume phones with professionalism.
