Sunset Key Cottages is seeking a full-time Manager in Training.

Opal Properties is one of Key West's premier hospitality employers, with 4 unique hotels: Opal Key West Resort, Sunset Key Cottages, The Laureate and The Capitana.

The Manager in Training is primarily responsible for handling all guest interactions and going above and beyond to exceed guest requests. Often provides the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating an excellent first impression. MIT position is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get into hospitality management.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Prior hospitality experience required
• Previous experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Opera or similar property management system.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be highly detailed orientated
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be professional in appearance and demeanor

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
• Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Possess strong leadership, motivational, organizational and verbal communication skills
