Medical Scheduler

Position Summary:

**IMMEDIATE Hire **Medical Knowedge a must**

The Front Desk/Receptionist/Scheduler representative is essential to the success of Apricus Health. This position is the first point of contact for both our external and internal clients and will require professional presence, welcoming and solid communication skills, attention to detail and organizational and research skills. They will demonstrate personal initiative and display a positive, caring, and professional attitude.

Position Responsibilities:

• Greets and directs visitors by checking in/out patients.
• Scheduling follow up appointments.
• Verify Demographics
• Verification of medical insurance
• Collect copays/deductibles/past balances
• Takes all incoming calls

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Primarily sitting in an office setting utilizing computer.
• May be required to lift boxes, fill paper trays, and other minor physical office related tasks.

Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well

1 years: High school diploma or GED and three (1) years of medical office experience
