New Mexico Urgent Care is seeking a motivated full time Medical Assistant to join our growing team! We provide paid training, and Bonuses!
Medical Assistant Job Duties:
-Patient registration/EMR
-Insurance verification
-Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft
-Vitals
- COVID 19 Testing (will Train)
-Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs
-In office testing including FLU, strep and pregnancy testing.
-EKG's
-Injections/Immunizations-Prepare for suturing-Sterilization, etc.
Requirements
- capable of drawing blood and performing injections
- must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts
-able to check blood pressure manually
-Team player, goal oriented and is capable of multi-tasking.
