Job description
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Establishes a compassionate and professional environment by maintaining proper uniform and speech
  • Obtain and verify insurance eligibility for services
  • Properly routes phone calls to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Utilizes Clearwave kiosks to start the check in process
  • Obtains and enters accurate patient information and services to be rendered
  • Properly collects and documents payments
  • Schedules future appointments as needed
  • Oversees patient check out and verifies flow sheet is properly filed
  • Verifies the cash box balance at the end of the day
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Any other duties as assigned
