Medical Injection Authorization Coordinator
Job description
Medical Injection Authorization Coordinator - Full-Time Position-Edwards Mill Office: Position is responsible for completing the Drug authorization process including benefit determination and pre-authorization with Insurance Companies; communicating with patients to provide status updates and scheduling injection appointments; and Coordinating Drug orders with Specialty Pharmacies. Works closely with Physician Teams to insure that authorizations and appointments are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Excellent organizational and customer service skills are required. Previous experience with major insurance authorizations, CPT, HCPSC and ICD-10 codes preferred, but not required. The ability to prioritize in a high volume/fast paced environment is required.
