We are looking for an administrative assistant with experience working in healthcare setting.
5 days a week

Job Description:

Greets and directs visitors and callers to the facility in a friendly and professional manner. Assists and directs visitors and residents in accordance with the nursing home policies. Maintains confidentiality of all residents. Visitors are greeted promptly upon arrival with a friendly receptive greeting. Staff members are notified of the arrival of new patients when appropriate. Operates the telephone/paging system receiving, screeningand directing calls for staff members and residents. Phone is answered as quickly as possible and in a courteous manner. Identifies self by name. Accurate and complete messages are conveyed in the appropriate manner. Maintains all office supplies and equipment, including tracking inventory and ordering supplies. Office supplies are ordered in a timely manner. Work area is neat and clean. Proper inventories are met. Performs secretarial/clerical duties, including letter writing, typing, filing, completing reports, postings, computer work, copierand mail equipment. Sets up hair salon appointments daily and is a liaison between the hair salon and residents/families. Salon worksheets are reviewed prior to submission for payment. Completes monthly mailings. Manages Client disbursements and meal tickets. Documents are formatted appropriately, with minimum errors and within the required time frame. Data is collected in a timely and accurate manner. Provides clerical support as needed to the Administrator and All Department Managers, including sortingand distributing mail. Prepares wrist band, door tag, etc. for all new admissions. Duties are completed as per work request. Shares information, ideasand personal skills with other team members in the department and facility. Asks if other team members need help. Participates on committees as requested by supervisor. Handles special projects and rush assignments as needed, in a timely manner.

Education Requirement:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Computer literate.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Delivers the highest level of service to all residents, familiesand visitors. Follows the Meridian Way and Rules of Service to ensure satisfaction.
3-6 months related experience and/or training.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
