SUMMARY

Implements and coordinates the planning, organization, control, integration,

and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according.

to project authorization and requirements.

Orders tooling, fixtures, equipment, and gaging for assigned job.

Develop & maintain product design for compliance with engineering principles,

company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and

resolving engineering design and test problems.

Evaluates design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.

Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.

Prepares and coordinates Program Management, including APQP, timing charts, documentation review and implementation.

Troubleshoots manufacturing related problems, including efficiency, process,

and quality related concerns.

Investigates and implements cost savings measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Four-year college or university program certificate; or four to six years related.

experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or vendors. Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, vendors, and employees.

PROBLEM SOLVING

Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

High comfort level with computer applications word, excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, 3D software.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk
